Sustainable 60: Community Fundamentals
Fitness, Nutrition, Sleep, Hydration, and Stress Management are crucial elements of a healthy lifestyle, but what's missing?
The psychological, emotional, and social aspects of our lives matter more than we give them credit for, and the people in our lives are one of the biggest influences to our mental and emotional well being. We couldn’t have a holistic approach to health without talking about the importance of community and having a good support system. So to make sure we cover this topic, we are giving you a build in Community Group and challenging you to be intentional about increasing the social support you have around your health.
Community support- who you surround yourself and feed off of- is one of THE biggest influences of success and overall health and longevity. Who you are with affects your appetite, confidence, stress level, emotions, and overall physiology. We've all heard the statistics and statements like "you become like those you hang around" or "you're a sum of the main three people you hang out with," and I think we can all attest to how our families, upbringings, cultures, and exposures have shaped our habits, mindsets, and behaviors.
At LET we strongly believe in the Holistic, Deep Health approach to health. We simply can't treat the body by only looking at one's fitness or nutrition status. We have to look at ALL aspects of our lives in order to truly achieve sustainable, effective lifestyles and habits individually.
So for the next 60 days, we're giving you a strong support system through the Sustainable 60 Community! For the next 60 days you'll have access to our coaches and a group of like-minded individuals taking the same step in their health. We want to make sure you have all the tools to succeed in this challenge- including a team of people ready to help you brainstorm ways to build your habits, hold you accountable, and cheer you on the whole way.
For the duration of the challenge, each Monday you'll check in with the Community Group in the app and give a brief report on how the previous week went and how you plan to tackle the week ahead. The questions you'll answer at each Monday Check-in are:
1. What went well last week?
2. What did not go as you hoped?
3. What's one thing you can take away from last week to help you prepare for and/or tackle the week ahead?
