About Body Composition Revival (BCR): What is it and who is it for?

What is BCR? 

Body Composition Revival (BCR) is our signature strength program that currently comes in two versions: a gym version and a minimal equipment (home gym) version. We also have our BCR: PRO version coming soon which will be an advanced/athlete version.

This program is designed to help you build optimal health, a balanced body, and a heckin’ strong physique. The entire program is 48 weeks and is split into 4 week “chapters”, with each chapter progressing on the last. In the strength world, these long term programs involve a process called periodization- or splitting your long-term training program into smaller blocks of time (or “training phases”) with certain focuses during each block. This method is used to optimize your training progress. By using this technique, we are able to use the best possible methods for your goals in a strategic way. Ultimately, this leads to the results you’re after, AND it helps you efficiently use your time in the gym. Because let’s be honest, your time is VALUABLE and results are why you are there in the first place.

For the BCR program, you have the option of choosing 2 , 3, or 4 workouts per week. You also have the option of choosing between a subscription- where your workouts will be added to your program monthly- or a “Chapter” version. The chapter version allows you to only purchase the training phases/workouts as you use them, and invites you to move onto the next chapter (or training phase) upon completion of all the workouts in the previous training phase. This is great for people who are just getting started with their weekly movement routine, have busy schedules and might need to adjust their workouts weekly based on what is going on in their life (ex: mom’s during sports seasons), or those who simply want to make sure they’re not paying for more than they are using!

When it comes to receiving your workouts and tracking your progress, your BCR program will be delivered through our LET app. The LET app is powered by Trainerize which is a coaching platform that allows you to track your progress, communicate with your coach, interact with your custom nutrition plan, track your food, sync your smart devices, access your workouts and more. All of your workouts will come with video and written instructions for each move, built in timers for rest periods, and the ability to track what weight you use and what reps and sets you perform for each exercise. The app will even keep track of your personal bests, reward you as you set new records, estimate your 1 and 10 rep maxes, track every set, rep, and weight you’ve lifted for each exercise.

“What are my options if I want to get on the BCR program?”

So here’s how it works!

First start with deciding what version you want: 

  • Minimal equipment (home gym) version: 

This version relies on access to free weights and bands, with the option to use a few other pieces of equipment (kettlebells, bars, cables). All moves can be adapted to fit any gym with minimal equipment-like home gyms and hotel gyms. 

  • Gym version

This version relies on all the basic equipment you would find in a gym: free weights, bands, cables, and a few other optional pieces. 

Then decide how many workouts per week you want to start with. (This will also determine the cost)

  • 2 workouts per week: ($29.99/month OR chapter)

Your workouts will be auto-scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays but can be moved to any day of the week on your calendar. All workouts will be delivered through the LET app. 

  • 3 workouts per week: ($34.99/month OR chapter)

Your workouts will be auto-scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays but can be moved to any day of the week on your calendar. All workouts will be delivered through the LET app. 

  • 4 workouts per week: ($39.99/month OR chapter)

Your workouts will be auto-scheduled for Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays but can be moved to any days of the week. All workouts will be delivered through the LET app. 

Lastly, decide if you want to sign up for the subscription option, or go chapter-by-chapter: 

  • Subscription option details: 

The subscription option allows you to simply sign up and forget about having to manage your workout plan. When you sign up, you’ll be billed monthly and our Programs Manager will be available to help you move things around, pause your program, and/or make any scheduling changes you need. Basically, once you sign up, all you have to do is workout. 

**We have subscription options for both the gym and minimal equipment versions AND for the 2, 3, and 4 workouts per week options. 

  • Chapter version details: 

The chapter version allows you to pay-as-you go. This option is great if you’re busy, your schedule is unpredictable, or you simply want to make sure that you don’t pay for a cent more than what you use. This version lets you drag-and-drop your workout to whatever days work best for you. As soon as you complete your program, you’ll be asked if you want to purchase and move on to the next chapter in the BCR program- keeping you on track and progressing the whole time.

  • The app will track your progress for each exercise- calculating your estimated 1 and 10 rep maxes, keeping track of your total volume, past weight/reps lifted, and more
