About Holistic Health Coaching: What to expect as an LET client
Holistic Health Coaching is a concept many can’t define. Many have some kind of impression in their minds when they think of “holistic health.” Since there are so many different types of Holistic Health practices, we want to make sure you know what LET’s take on Health Coaching is and what it would look like for you if you were a Health Coaching client. Here’s what to expect:
1.Holistic Health Coaching at LET is a combined Personal Training, Nutrition Coaching, and Habit Coaching experience.
No matter what your health goals are, our bodies were created to move, are in constant need of proper nutrients to thrive, and are a direct result of our daily habits. In the early days of LET, we separated these 3 pillars of health into different services, but after a while we became overwhelmingly conflicted in our inability to serve people to the degree they deserved. We believe by leaving out any one of these pillars, we leave “holes” in our body’s ability to heal and operate the way it was designed to. To make sure we are serving you best, our Holistic Health Coaching services emphasize all three pillars equally.
2. Holistic Health Coaching focuses on how all aspects of health- including physical, nutritional, mental, emotional, social, and environmental- work together.
The primary goal we aim to help all clients achieve is a balanced lifestyle, founded on healthy habits. We hope to help all achieve this while also achieving their specific health goals. In order to do that, due to the complexity of the human body, we have to look beyond just the physical. Research continues to shed light on just how intimately all aspects of life affect our physical bodies. To that effect, helping you achieve your goals will require you t0 optimize your habits in all areas of life.
3. Because of how strongly we believe in Holistic Health, all 1-on-1 Coaching experiences will emphasize the 3 Pillars of Health (Movement, Nutrition, Habits) and the aspects of health listed above.
What separates LET from the rest of the industry is the fact that we do these things differently:
We see the client as the expert on their own life.
We ONLY preach the fundamentals of health and things research and experience confirms.
We don’t separate movement, nutrition, and habits in our coaching experiences. In other words, we won’t coach you on only nutrition without looking at other aspects of health.
Because of this, we know LET may not be for everyone. However, we believe in serving people to the highest degree we can within our scope of practice. To serve you best, we believe wholeheartedly in the holistic approach.
